Trailer Brake Controlers

I know it's been asked before, but couldn't fine it, so I'm asking again. I need to put a brake controller in a Cross Over vehicle that will pull a single axle 3,500# trailer. I remember the Prodigy line being the recommended units, are they still the ones to buy?
