Here in my county, near the Patuxent River Naval Air Station, live some retired Marine veterans of the brutal Chosin campaign.
They call their veterans group "the Chosin few".
The local newspaper did a story a few years ago about them.
We also, until a few years ago, had 4 Pearl Harbor survivors in the county too.
