I haven't seen an engine yet that's carb was so small it makes intake vacuum it WFO.
What more and bigger carbs give is faster throttle response- jump on the gas, and it starts accelerating NOW.
I'm building a set of headers and an intake mfld now, and my bet is that I'll gain appreciable power with the same old B&B carb.
