I painted my whole engine with Chrysler red out of the spray can 500 degree rating and I am using the 1200 degree metal look, darn cant think of what its called now but it looks like bare metal or just a little darker. It was a tuff job getting all those nuts loose without breaking all the studs. I broke one off thank goodness that was all. The hardest was getting the two back carburetor bolts loose. It took me 6 hours to get them off and drilled out. It will take another 2 to clean them and put back on.
