Maureen is in some pain, a lot of pain. The foot was a little worse that the X-rays showed, but the surgeon patched her up with a titanium plate and cannulated screws. Her ankle was a little worse too. The surgeon stressed her ankle during the surgery, and decided to put two screws in the ankle.
So Maureen hobbled around enough yesterday to sit on the porch and get some fresh air. As long as she keeps the foot elevated, she will be OK, that and the Percocet seemed to help.
We go back tomorrow morning for the fiberglass cast.
