I thought there was a larger engine available in these trucks , not sure on the cubic inches but i was thinking in the 500 plus cubes also i think a wing plow was a option. If you had a wing , it required a additional man in the cab as the controls were mounted on the passanger side . These trucks ruled the hiways in these parts but when changes were made to mount sanders on the back instead of a dump box the front wheel drive wasnt need here any more . The big dodges dominated the hiway plowing here right up till mid to late 70s. Then I H trucks with there inline diesel soon took over as dodge phased out of the heavy truck end . The differencials were prone to snapping axles (torgue break) by design of the locking diff ,but was more the drivers fault spinning out a wheel till then the non turning wheel would lock and kick in at a high speed and snap the axle if it grabbed ~ J
