He designed GREAT ramps for my trailer. Held a D4 easy, could pin them in 3 positions & the tailights were protected inside a pipe. Found him having a rest on my cold concrete floor with the shop doors open @ -20. He refused a warm bed (rig welders ha). He spent a lot of time with pen & paper, just loved designing stuff,, just charged me when he was burning rod. I missed him when he got straight but was happy for him.
