Another reason I love living in Vermont!

Yesterday I was out behind the shop, pulling the carb off of an old Power Wagon rolling chassis. It is all grown up in the weeds. I was working away and heard a quiet raspy sound. I looked around and saw a big old garter snake sliding off the frame on the other side. If I lived in many other places you would have been reading my obit! Almost no poisonous snakes here. About the worst nasty we have to worry about playing around trucks is wasps and hornets but a can of Raid keeps them under control. Next February someone needs to remind me why I love living here!
