I do not like to use the water-based sealers like slime. They will rust your rims on the inside, pretty quickly.
I have used sealers of various types for years in mowing machinery with tubless tires. The Slime product, causes severe rusting over a period of time. I have seen rims totally ruined from rus within two years from the Slime brand sealer. Also, I have not had good luck using any sealers on tube-type tires. It only has been effective for me on tubless tires.
