Like I said before, I've been out of the loop for a few years now, BUT, your wrong. Weather it's a false positive or a true positive, the results are the same, ie: no job or fired or supervision.
Like the other David said, & I totally agree, if a person can't do their job, they should be fired. If a person interviews for a job hammered, they shouldn't get it, but if someone does a bat (or whatever it's called these days) 3 days before, that shouldn't mean anything to anyone except maybe the person's family, not a freakin boss!
Better quaility employee???? WHERE? Have ya been to a Walmart lately? Try & get help at one of them box stores. All have pre-employment drug screens.
Just like all this info crap floatin around out there on everyone of us, to be bought & sold to the highest bidder. Why don't ya just submit your DNA to the powers that be so they can have everything on you?
Once ANYTHING is complied or listed or written about a person, it is there forever if someone really wants it (except for the VA, who can't find my records from 30 years ago).
Still again, whatever I do on my own time is nobody's GD business but mine unless I hurt someone. Thise tests are not at all as accurate as they claim to be. I know this for fact as I have dealt with those company's, and still have contacts within. It's a big joke, but the problem is, the joke's on us.
Now this is not meant as a bash or flame, I'm just passing on sumthin I know for fact, but remember my old buddy William Randolph Hurst & what he said, "Believe nothing that you read, & only half of what you see." ;>)
