i have worked around it here in the oil patch. Where I used to live in Eagle valley it was common to smell it most days.Lots of dead guys thought they could hold there breath, run in and save their buddy. It also burns your eyes terrible. I have friends that were knocked down, just from opening the hatch on a truck. We have to recertify our H2S certificates every 2 years to even enter most facilities. ESDs on our diesels (not trucks). Shell in particular are super sensitive to safety tickets. I didn`t realise the danger in lagoons however. Thanks, GB
