Have to rebuild a set of front W300 springs. For some unknown reason the guy who had it before me decided to put 4 or 5 extra leaves on the driver's side (also had squeezed in a GM Toro Flow diesel backed with an Allison automatic for power--go figure). Got a few sets of big Dodge springs (D500-700), and was wondering if all spring leaves are tempered to the same rate or if they are specific to the model of truck. Was going to use the W300 center leaf and add leaves from the pile of springs in the yard. Not a real difficult project (read: trying to save a couple of bucks) unless the big truck springs have too high of temper which would make the fronts a stiffer than the rears. Thanks! birdo
