My large compressor gets very hot when blasting in continuous use. It has a intercooler between stages and a aftercooler that does help quite a bit. The air is still quite warm for a ways down the 1.0" pipe. Also, its summer and hot, you are intaking in hot air and making it hotter. Be sure to drain your tank often, to eliminate water buildup. I have a electronic water dump that blows off every 10 minutes for 2 seconds. At the end of a lot of blasting during the summer, I have a lot of water on the floor from the water dump. Keep track of the oil level in your compressor crankcase.
