The fog is actually more from the reflection off the plastic. My camera really wigged out during those photos. There was some fog in the air but it was amplified by the camera. Flash really messed things up. If I had to do it again I think Iwould have put another box fan out my other window.I did end up with a few specs of dirt in the paint. I thought it was super clean in there. I think it was. The specs of dirt I think came from the car. Something got stirred up as the painting was going on. After seeing paintbooths at body shops I think my tent was much cleaner then the booths.
I had a friend help and provide knowledge thru out the entire project. It turned out pretty good but it is not a Barrett Jackson paint job. I learned a lot. Prep work is the most important part.
My 69 needs to be tore clear down and put on a rotiss. I am wondering now after hurting my back if I will be able to do this myself in a few years. Body work was really physically demanding. Its hard work! I am sure I did things harder then needed due to my lack of experience but its still a tough job to do.
