i did a little checking and you are right about lead. the nickel is the hard part about the battery on the environment. the attached article makes a flawed comparison of a prius vs hummer, but it details the process of making nickel for the batteries and the damage it causes in the process. ill keep my command car and run my yukon into the ground.
