Power Wagons dont pollute, do they?

So one of the guys who works for me is a bit crunchy. He is constantly giving me grief about driving my Power Wagon because it has no emission controls on it. He says (although I dont notice it) that the exhaust smells like raw gas. I dont think its running too rich, no sooty black deposits in the tailpipe.
Anyway has anyone ever tried to clean one of these beasts up? Catalitic converter etc? Not planning on doing it, just thought it might be an interesting topic to kick around.
And No, the solution is not to fire the worker!
