I built a cloth wiring harness for my blue WDX. If you watch Ebay, there is often cloth wire for sale. I emailed one of the sellers & got enough wire in every different color for around $100 but some of the colors were not exact as the original.
Keep in mind if you use 12V, the gauge of wire can be smaller than 6V. 6V system is higher amperage & considerably larger wires.
