My couple of websites cost a little over $100 a year, and I do not have anywhere near the traffic the Joe does.

Creating the ones I have took 100 hours or more each, and they have not been updated in years.

Joe is constantly working on this site to keep it working as well as it does. I would guess at least 30 minutes a day, if not more, with many days needing a LOT more time.

Just creating a few pages for Phil's website cost me a lot of money in research materials, and time in collecting all the data. Then I had to go out and find trucks that had the detail I wanted on them, and get a good picture of it. These things do not just appear, what looks like nothing much may take days of effort to create. My effort was nothing compared to what Phil did to complete and maintain his site, or what Joe does to maintain his.

It is just like the movies, 10 seconds of some special effect may take a whole team 3 months to create, yet it only lasts 10 seconds on the screen.

Web work can be the same way, a page you read quickly and click away from may have taken days of time to get that way.

My two little sites can be seen at:

townwagon.com

Phil's site has some of my work here:

Some webpages are easy, but even Blogs, which may look easy, may take a lot of time to compose.

Heck just uploading the PW images in the link below took me 20-30 minutes of fiddling as I was having trouble with the upload.

Thanks for all your work Joe!

Eric
