Fair enough. When I lived in Everett, I worked at home for 10 years and listened to the CBC (Vancouver) all day long. It seemed like they were always having a transit strike or a ferry strike or a teacher's strike, and the strikes would go on for most of a year. I do remember big strikes in the US when I was young. The UAW and the Teamsters were always going out, as were the Steelworkers and the Longshoremen. That doesn't happen any more. I think some of them won the battle but lost the war.
