Hey Ron, well you see, the combine broke down at the Diehlstadt Farm, and the 3/4" Drive Socket Set was at the Shop in Lusk chapel, and Pop said hurry. Well those great old country paved roads, and the pedal to the metal. On the return trip I hit top end and all the sudden she shut down and came to a halt.

Well I quickly tried to re-start here, and could tell no fire. Poped off the distibuter, and she turned when i cranked, so I pulled up on the coil wire contact on the rotaer (as it looked to be drooping) and poped the cap back on and she fired right up. Pedal to the metal and I was off again.

She sure ran warm, and I guess at those speeds for that trip it must have been enough to allow the roter to relax. I replaced it at the next trip to town.
