Yes I get your point. most of that is all controlled by rim design like you mentioned. See this pic how the rim has an offset to it and the rims on my truck do not? So if I put that axle in my truck I can't run my rims like I want. I guess I need some hub to hub measurements off a W200 big knuckle.
