Any picture you link to will only be viewable by people on the forum while it is hosted somewhere.
Like Joe I use Image Event, $25 a year (you can pay with PayPal if you want) and you get to store a lot of images, 1,500 I think. There is no real size limit, though the upload size is limited to 10MB per image I think, so you could only upload 15,000MBs of pictures. I have a larger account, and I currently have over 3,100 images on there. Most are 150K to 4.4 MB each.
