Glenn,

This is an image of a 1960 D100 with an 8 foot Sweptline bed.

You may be able to see how different the bed is from the Sweptside, and the Utiline.

This bed is a welded together steel bed, unlike the Utiline bed which is bolted together. The Sweptline bed also has a metal floor instead of the wood floor in a Utiline or Sweptside bed.

This bed was only used in 1959 and 1960, and then Dodge sold the dies to Studebaker, who used the bed (with the front modified) on their pickups until 1964 I think.

On to 1961-65 1/2 Sweptlines....
