I'm having about the same problems that you're having. I've opened the top of the carborator and pour gas to fill the bowl. Started the engine and it starts and run until the gas is gone. I've noticed that the fuel wasn't being sucked from the tank. then I hooked up a brake bleeder suction pump and got gas to come all the way to the pump. I did the same thing as before and still the pump wasn't sucking. Today I called Steve at VPW and he told me to get a gas can put the hose into it and hook it up to the pump and start the engine if it starts and stay running it not the pump but an air leak somewhere in the line. I'm going to go buy a lenth of copper tubing with no connections to eliminate any air leaking problems. I'll let you know how it goes. good luck
