Hi all,

Yes, this is a large bike battery for a 72 FLH. It is easily 3-4 times the size of most bike batteries.

I have put in new batteries before and thought I should try follow directions which is not always my style. Of course, I learned some new tech tips along the way.

My 74 Harley has a maintainance free battery and it is going on it's 4th season. Bike is stored inside a shop with full climate control.

I usually get less than 3 full seasons out of a bike battery.

NEXT QUESTION(S):

Can you ressurect a dead battery?

Is topping off a battery with distilled water diluting the acid and weakening the battery??
