I own a 06 Mega Cab 3500 SRW and am getting 17 MPG. My 96 Mercury Villager with a V6 only gets 18 MPG.Guess which one I will get rid of first? I think the smart money will keep their diesel P/U's and buy a cheap 10 year old econo-box that gets 30mpg for the daily driving tasks. I think that the flexibility of the diesel engine with alternative fuels make them a long term hold.
