I have a gooseneck and my Ford Powerstroke does well pulling the gooseneck and I would NEVER do bumper pull for heavy loads. I used to be in heavy haul and still have my Pete w/ lowboy, but bumper pulls make no sense when you can get a gooseneck IF you keep that GVWR down (on paper).
