With the cost of gas high a lot of big vehicles that get lousy gas milage will be sitting idle. So if the gas price stays high it will be interesting to see if after ten years that we will have a lot of tires go bad. You know people will not buy new ones if they are still good on the tread. I wonder if it's a ploy to get people to buy tires more often and also release the tire companies of liability from accidents caused by a blow out. I'm very skeptical of big companies trying to get me to spend more of my hard earned money. Off road vehicles I wouldn't worry about. The tires are going to be more expensive as the cost of oil goes up too.
