If you have a Residual Pressure valve on the disk brake line, the disks will drag and probably not release. On the rear drums you will be fine. I can not answer about the volume of the original MC, dont know the bore size or stroke. However, on a 4 wheel disk system you really need to run a MC with a 1&5/16" bore for good brakes and a good pedal reserve. The NAPA MC with 1& 5/16" bore is 11584 Bendix, NAPA # 39017. I use this MC on all my trucks with 4 wheel disks.
