No, this is a common mistake in many peoples thinking. Unless there are 4 or more wraps of the cable around each block, there can only be double the force of the cable on each block. You could have 1000 blocks all stacked up and never increase the force in the cable or each individual block.
Also commonly misunderstood is the fact that you can break your winch cable either simply by adding snatch blocks. This is not true. No amount of snatch blocks will increase the force in your cable. If your working limit is twice what you expect to put on there, you are more than safe.
