Not sure what a side style tank is. Every PW tank I've seen is between the frame rails behind the axle, some full width, most not, about 1/2 width on the right side. And no, it can't go higher under the stock bed. Maybe your side style description is the between the rails offset to right style? So instead of going taller, go lower, just watch out when off road.
