I had that problem. Who hasn't? I needed to get one off a donor M37 to replace a bad one on an M37. My friend says "no problem" he had a tractor with this problem. His method (which did'nt end up working) use an air chisel instead of a hammer and punch on the back side. As previously mentioned because of the rubber backing over the metal it's not the greatest. Here's the method that did work: drill 1/4 " holes on both sides of the shaft in the hub face then tap the holes with thread and one of these easily gotten two bolt pullers worked great. Duh. End of story
