Old timer up thr road from me lived alone with his little dog ,retired operating engineer ,truck just sat in his garage alongside his tractor + many other fine pieces of tools + equip.The last time I had seen that truck was 5 yrs ago when I drove it 6 mi down the road to my shop for its yearly state inspection.I dropped in a bit over the years to visit him + always expressed interest in that truck.He couldnt live on his own anymore,his daughter took him downstate to live.I spoke with them both a few times about purchasing the truck for a fair price.Last week one evening a fellow I know stoped in to tell me about a truck + tractor him + his brother bought ,they trailered the tractor but got the truck started + broke down after trying to pull a steep hill + would I go tow it in + fix it.We talked a bit + it was the truck I wanted.I went up + towed it in.It had 22 mis on it since I last inspected it in 95 .Put a fresh fuel filter on it bled the injectors added some Marvel Mystery Oil + a couple gal of fresh DSL + does it purr 14400 miles . Truck runs + drives like new .Inside of cab is immulacate.I washed it up + it also shined like new.Went for 6000 Dollars .I would have bought it on the spot if it would have been offered
