Yes, I do remember my first. It was in Fallon, NV. I was 9 in 69, and it belonged to a friend of my uncle, whom we were visiting. We went to look at some horses that my uncle was wanting to buy. The front fenders flaped so hard as we went down the washboard road that I thought we were going to take off and fly. I asked Uncle Chet what kind of a rig we were in and he said it was a certain death trap but I fell in love with the rugged style of these trucks. Cracked windows, multiple coats of paint, bailing wire and welds all over, these trucks are built to be used forever. How else can you see a 59 year old truck that can still go out and do a full days work? I doubt that I'll see any of these newer trucks, that cost more than my father's farm, running in 20 years let alone 60 years. And thanks for the great forum Joe.

DEATH BEFORE NEW IRON!
