My 230 doesn't have an oil filter, I think it was removed to make way for the modified alternator plate when the system was made more civilian parts compatable (12volt alt, starter, coil, etc.).
I can feel a plug behind the bracket and further down the block I think I can feel another plug for the return.
I would like to install an aftermarket remote spin on and cooler, but I don't understand how the old system can just be pluged off.
If it is not part of the oil circuit does it require a special orifice to keep the pressure up on the oiling circuit?
