Your engine is also the 6A3.4. Is it turbocharged? If so, it's 120 hp @ 3600-4000 and 210 ft-lb @ 22-2400. It was built in Japan. Your biggest problem will be length. How long is it fan to back of block? How far is it back of radiator to firewall? firewall surgery may be necessary.
With your SAE#3 a natural transmission would be a Spicer 3053A 5 spd from a multifuel early deuce-and-a-half. Because of the relatively high rpms needed by this engine to develop good torque and power, consider gearing carefully. If the 5.83s are kept the 3053A will be perfect with 36-39" tires. Alternatively, you could switch to 4.89s and find a 5spd with 5th direct and a relatively close 4th (the common Eaton/Fuller FS4205B has 4th = 1.28). At most make sure your 5th gear has a "shallow" overdrive like 0.85:1 if you use 4.89s, and don't go oversize on the tires then.
Something like 4.89s and a steep 5th overdrive like the 0.74 of a NV4500 will yield unsatisfactory result; it will be unusable in 5th, most likely.
