Hey all, plans are still underway for a Power Wagon get together in southern Indiana. (That's what the S.IN. is.) I hope to know by Monday at the latest whether it will be the weekend of September 22,23,24 or Sept. 29,30,Oct 1st. From what everybody who has contacted me has said, they want more than a one day affair.
My current thinking is Friday have a tailgate party and talk power wagons. Saturday, have a small show and swap meet, and we are trying to find a place to have a light trail ride. I have a place lined up for the show and swap. Sunday, more power wagon talk and maybe another small show before everybody heads home.
In the Evansville area, besides Dodge trucks, we have a casino boat and a fairly nice zoo. also, we have a lot of nice scenery but I haven't been able to find some to drive on yet.
I plan to have this open to all Dodge and Dodge powered vehicles as well as any dedicated military vehicles (armored cars, half tracks and the like).
I don't know about cost yet but hope to keep it reasonable. I also plan on having some T-shirts made. There is a place that can put a photo on a shirt and I'd like to make one with a PW coming over a hill or out of a ditch. Hotel room availability is the reason for not knowing the exact date yet. We sometimes fill them up completely with some of the local car shows.

If you called earlier in the year when I was looking into interest, I may not have your number any longer due to a data crash on my computer. I would recommend mailing a stamped, self addressed envelope to my mailing address. This way, I can send out all the information as it is available.
