I ordered my 1999 Dodge 2500 4by 4 diesel with the 5 spd , and 3:54 gears, also has A/C , power windows, locks, and some more misc crap. I love it. but I seems to get only about 17 mpg although I have a lead foot. I normally drive about 70mph. tach is around 2k on the highway. The most weight I have towed is not my 46 WdX but my brothers 74 club cab power wagon loaded with 1200 lbs of sand on my traier, that was quite an experience. It towed fine, was hard to stop.(no trailer brakes)I think I had about 8500 to 9000 lbs I had plenty of power. Also when I bought mine in 99 I found a similar ford for 28k and told the dodge dealer about it and they said go ahead buy the ford. I ended up paying 32k but that was 99 now there are more dodges available.
