From your serial number, your truck fits most closely in the 3/4 ton T214 series: http://www.powerup.com.au/~djr/T214.jpg

Also look for the body tag: http://www.powerup.com.au/~djr/body.html
If your truck is a 3/4 ton, the body tag will read 42XX-YYYY, where 42 designates a 1942 model year (all 3/4 tons have this designation- even if made in 1945), XX describes the body style, and YYYY indicates the production number of that body.

Look on this page to see if one of these models looks familiar: http://www.powerup.com.au/~djr/3q.html
An important feature is if the truck has doors on the side or is open. Also you should measure the wheelbase. Does the truck have a winch on the front?

It is difficult to know exactly what you have without pictures. In civilian use, bodies were sometimes switched (open body replace with closed body with metal doors due to cold winters in Sweden).

The US system of designating trucks calls this a 3/4 ton. It will carry 3/4 ton anywhere, but will carry 1-1/2 tons on roads. The Swedish must use the on the road rating of 1-1/2 tons for their trucks.

If this was a 1-1/2 ton US Dodge truck, it would be a 6X6, not a 4X4.

Please let us know what you find.
