Jonas, You're really fortunate the guy took it back. I bought a flood damaged 2500 (currently on the photo classifieds) knowing it had been in a flood, but not how bad it was. I paid $17,500. It looks great! New paint all around. I put in an idle air speed motor, alternator, all new brakes, new a/c clutch and reconditioned a/c pump, and new stereo (to the tune of over $2,500). I have $20,000 in this truck and dealers won't touch it. The few I've found who will trake it offer between $8,500 and $10,000 for it. I still owe $15,500. With all the work I've done, it will probably run great for a long time. But I can't afford the next time it needs major work.
