quite often because of my commitment to my farm and my family ,traveling to see equipment is practicaly impossible>if i see something of interest,i prepare a list of questions in advance>i try to reach the seller at a time thats convient so he has ample time to think about the questions>i generaly ask for plenty of photos, and throughly look at the pictures >but i look closer at the surroundings to get a idea of the owners sense of order > i pencil in what i believe what it would take to bring it close to the value i could get out of if i had to sell > i add for lots in my figuring , generally i expect the worse, do the math then have it shipped home > i am allways straight with the owner and explain the situation i find most people are honest but i am prepared for a sting or two as well > in the long run this has worked for me more than not > i all expect the worst when the equipment arrives but i have prepared for it and costed it out so any thing i get is a plus J
