Pole buildings here always have the floor poured last; the concrete then goes right up against the poles.

The treated poles go into holes bored in the ground. You would not get a very good fit of the floor to the poles if you left enough room to bore holeds through the poured slab.

Norm, we know that you don't have much experience in construction, but just stick with us rural guys and you may learn a lot....
