They're OK, but iit's better to use copper on both sides. It's alot easier to change in the field that way. I have used both, but the one sided copper ones reguir cleaning the block, and in the field this can be difficult, where as withh two sided copper, one can be slipped out and the other put in to get you home. I think I can do this blind folded at this point in my life. If it happens often, the head realy needs to come of and be shaved down. I've done this to two of my trucks and have'nt had one blown since.
