My Grandad had 3 Rumley Oil-Pull tractors on his homestead in Montana. Neat machines to play on when young. He also had several old belt driven threshing machines.
I spent many, many Summer days navigating an International WD-9 tractor around the fields. It was started on gasoline, then switched over to diesel after it warmed up. It would blow dozens of huge, perfect smoke rings immediately after switching to diesel. That tractor would also scare you to death in 5th gear, the thing would go a lot faster than you could steer safely.
