I looked into it for the seats of my Command Car, 5 years ago.
Handles sun very well. But kind of slippery for seats. Ought to be good for bed covers though. Excellent for car covers, since it is NOT waterproof, it will let the vehicle breathe. I've sure seen cars ruined by the rust under those cheap blue tarps.
Lots of colors. I think the giant flowers would be good for camouflage.
