I served in the Canadian Scottish Regiment Late70's/ early 80s and we still had 4 M37s shoved way in the back of the motor pool. We were driving '76 pattern GMC 5 quads (1 1/4 ton) then, but if we got stuck for a truck, we'd roll out an M. The guys loved 'em. They were like Heavy Metal Regimental Pets. Nobody that I ever knew called them m37s. They were always referred to as "3/4 ton Power Wagons". Dad used to say, "JC! We were always putting gas in those things. They were just like flushing a GD toilet!" I'm not actually sure if any Canadian Ms made it to Korea. We probably used our earlier Dodges. Ken I did find and scan some pics of a Deuce and a Grizzly APC so you will see what I mean.(No Ms unfortunately) When I get home tonight I'll try to figure out how to put them on this forum. Th pictures were taken on my mom's '70s Kodak Instamatic but they're OK. (Where is it now?)
