Have a 2000 7.3 automatic and tow a 20' grady white boat. 15 miles + per gal. 120k on the truck now. No trans issues. New water pump at 75k , 3 brake jobs and changed the fuel heater, it had a light duty element that burned out and the replacement is like an oven coil. Also used a 6 ton trailer to tow a JD 350 dozer , no problems.
