Well, the kicker for me that I didn't mention was that I bought it the weekend before I bought my 1950 B2.
I'd been saving for a while hoping to find a PW and had scraped together everything to buy a decent one.
Up till that time, I'd only had a hand winch on the trailer.
I live in Tacoma, WA and bought my PW in Hope, BC about 6 hours away. I thought to myself, "you know, I'd better do something more than this hand winch just in case..."
Anyway, by the time I bought a battery and the HF winch, it wiped out all of my extra money. Literally, the seller in BC (very cool guy) ended up buying us both dinner before I left...
As it turned out, thank God I did because there would have been no possible way I would have been able to get that PW on the trailer otherwise. The hand winch was nowhere near strong enough!!!
I bought that Harbor Freight winch figuring if it worked only the one time it would be good enough.
Instead, I've been very, very surprised...
