quick after thought i have seen were a battery is so flat that its reluctant to charge sometimes you have to trickle them >but i would just change out the battery and try to start it then > look at your guage to see if its charging or not >this is just a quick test > if changing the battery and when you hook it(new one) up and the key is off and nothing is "On " in the vehicle, if you see SPARK stop points are closed in the regulater if theres no spark continue to look for probs in the wiring
