I tore down, transported and delivered a dozen of these lifts with a friend, 8 of which were just like yours in the pic Randy, from the old Formby Ford in Silverthrone Colorado years ago. I did this to help a friend make some money(myself too). He sold the new lifts to Formby for the new dealership building and bought all the old ones, in place. We were ill equipped and without enough time to do the teardown, transport to various customers in Denver and back multiple times. Multiple "adventurous"(luck, ignorance and stupidity involved) stories from those two weekends, pulling all-nighters.
My wife can attest to the nightmares I had about being crushed under one of those things for weeks afterwards(I'm a sleep-walker), and that was *not* the most dangerous part of the whole "ordeal".
Personally, I liked the top post models that didn't have the frame, cover plate and cables running across the floor. But the top post does require a tall building if working on trucks.
